Application: This product is useful in the automation of residential swing doors where low cost is the prevalent criteria. Also it is used in many apartment buildings where security is an issue but special access is needed for tenants.

The Single Actor releases the existing latch assembly and opens the door under pneumatic pressure with a smooth fluid motion. A mechanical closure (provided) is used to close the door. It is controlled by an X-10 remote control (other access methods available at an additional cost). The only noticeable difference when the Single Actor is installed is when the system is at rest the mechanical closure is applying pressure to hold the door closed. However it can still be opened and closed as a normal door by those not requiring special assistance.

Many of our sales of this particular model are directly to the end user and they have a family member or handyman do the installation for them, thus saving costly installation fees.

Standard Kit Components: Opening cylinder, door closer, pneumatic latch release, X-10 controls, solenoid valve with emergency exit feature, tubing, fittings and hardware.

The Stanley AccessPro is an automatic door system that opens, closes, locks and unlocks doors that are single, right or left hand, in-swing doors. Due to nursing facility fire codes, the unit is typically installed on doors that have spring closers. Pressing the remote control keyfob unlatches the electric strike and opens the door. The AccessPro holds the door open for the resident, enabling them to safely pass thru the doorway without having to maneuver the heavy door. Pressing the remote a second time closes and latches the door.

The AccessPro contains the following:

·         Door arm assembly with slider bracket attached

·         Controller circuit board mounted to its housing

·         Plug-in 110V AC Power Adapter Transformer

·         Junction box with radio frequency (rf) module

 The AccessPro does not utilize a battery back-up system. If power to the operator is lost, the door can be opened manually. In the event of an operator failure, the AccessPro can be disabled by pulling the emergency disconnect handle located at the base of the operator.
